Radiesse is made of calcium hydroxylapatite, or CaHa, which is the ingredient that makes Radiesse a unique injectable aesthetic treatment. It is classified as a bio-stimulatory filler that produces immediate, natural-looking, long-lasting results. Radiesse stimulates quick contouring plus the stimulation of collagen and elastin by creating a ‘scaffold’ with the CaHa particles that integrates into the skin. As the gel carrier of the filler breaks down (which is what produces the immediate result), a strong network of collagen fibers forms which smooths lines and promotes renewed skin structure.
