Botox Cosmetic and Dysport treatments corrects as well as further prevents facial lines, creases, wrinkles and deep facial furrows. These products work to soften the muscle contraction and in turn smooth the skin in the areas of the frown lines between the brows, horizontal forehead lines as well as crow’s feet on either side of the eyes. There are also numerous other areas that benefit from the use of neurotoxins including but not limited to treatment of neckbands, chin dimples, jawline slimming (masseter injection), lip flip, peri-oral lines and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).

These medications are injected into the muscles in order to relax the muscle contraction which in turn helps to give the skin a smooth texture and the overall face a lifted appearance. The dose as well as each injection point is strategically chosen for every individual patient, based on their particular muscle mass and strength.

All of these medications have been clinically trialed and studied to be safe and effective for over 20 years.

Facial fillers are a form of temporary dermal filler made from hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in our bodies. Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers are made up of sugar molecules that naturally exist in the skin and are key components in the skin’s ability to retain water for a plump, hydrated complexion. Over time, the skin ages in response to sun damage and muscle movements which causes lines, wrinkles, and volume loss. Facial fillers help to replace volume loss, plump, hydrate, and smooth to give a more youthful appearance.

Sculptra is an FDA-approved bio-stimulatory injectable that activates the skin’s natural regenerative process to help replenish lost facial collagen. Collagen is the most common protein in the body that is used to form a framework to support cells and tissue. Sculpltra is used widely to restore overall facial volume loss resulting in very soft, natural results that produce an undeniable Sculptra ‘glow.’ Sculptra comprises poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible component that stimulates significant collagen production. Sculptra is used to restore complete face volume loss that can cause one to look hollow and tired. It can also smooth and tighten skin, improving superficial texture creases, laxity, dimpling, and cellulite. Sculptra replaces volume loss and produces a beautiful ‘glow’ to the skin due to the ample collagen stimulation. Sculptra lasts up to two years. However, the collagen boost has been shown to remain in the tissues many years later.

Radiesse

Radiesse is made of calcium hydroxylapatite, or CaHa, which is the ingredient that makes Radiesse a unique injectable aesthetic treatment. It is classified as a bio-stimulatory filler that produces immediate, natural-looking, long-lasting results. Radiesse stimulates quick contouring plus the stimulation of collagen and elastin by creating a ‘scaffold’ with the CaHa particles that integrates into the skin. As the gel carrier of the filler breaks down (which is what produces the immediate result), a strong network of collagen fibers forms which smooths lines and promotes renewed skin structure. Radiesse is used to contour and replace volume loss in the face and hands. It can smooth skin in the neck and chest. Finally, Radiesse can smooth skin and increase volume if added to the buttocks.

Platelet Rich Fibrin

Learn More at easyprf.com

Platelet Rich Fibrin/ Plasma is referred to as “liquid gold” as it has the ability to regenerate cells and promote new cell growth within the body.  The process involves drawing the patient’s blood, processing it using a centrifuge, and then using the specialize cells for treatment.   The centrifuge separates the blood components that are then used for cell recruitment, multiplications and specialization which induces new collagen production.

Platelet Rich Fibrin PRF is one of the most natural ways to induce and promote collagen production in the body.  It can be used by injecting it or using it as a glide with microneedling treatments.  New collagen production results in rejuvenation of the skin which helps improve overall skin texture- improving thin skin, fine lines/creases, scars and gives the skin a healthy glow.  It is also injected in areas to promote collagen formation in areas where there has been volume loss such as cheeks and tear troughs.   It can be used as an alternative to or in addition to fillers for a natural stimulation of collagen.

Kybella

Kybella is an FDA-approved injectable called deoxycholic acid that destroys fat cells permanently. Your body then naturally eliminates the fat cells from that particular localized area of the body. It is most commonly used to help eliminate and diminish fat under the chin, referred to as ‘double chin.’ Clinical trials of Kybella demonstrated that once fat cells in particular areas were treated, those fat cells did not return even with patient weight gain. A consult is required to discuss whether you are a good candidate.

Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are a treatment that helps to exfoliate and tighten the skin using high-quality ingredients such as salicylic acid, TCA, and lactic acid. Peels can vary in depth, which can help target specific skin conditions. Peels help exfoliate dead cells, leaving the skin fresh and hydrated. Chemical peels penetrate at varying depths to overall help with the improvement of fine lines, creases, pore size, pigmentation, acne, melasma, roughness, and dullness.
